Headline: Ark-La-Tex Deaths, Mrs. Dottie Simpson
Sarepta – Mrs. Dottie M. Simpson, 81, died Tuesday after a lengthy illness. 
Funeral services will be held at New Sarepta Baptist Church today at 2 p.m., 
with the Rev. Guy Murphey officiating.  Burial will be in the Cotton Valley 
Cemetery under the direction of the Bailey Mortuary.  Mrs. Simpson was a 
member of the New Sarepta Baptist Church.  Survivors are one son, W. N. 
Simpson of Sarepta; one daughter, Mrs. Frank L. Holleman of Shreveport; one 
sister, Mrs. Onie Harper of Sarepta; one brother, D. M. May of Grayson, three 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.


Additional Comments:
Dottie was the daughter of William Robert MAY & Penelope A. "Pennie" WEST. She 
married Aden Whitfield SIMPSON on 27 Feb 1910 in Caldwell Parish LA and they 
had two children: William Norman & Thelma Ruth SIMPSON.
