MRS. MARTHA WAINWRIGHT SHAW

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Wainwright Shaw will be 11 a.m. Friday 
at First United Methodist Church of Winnfield with Rev. Barry Hoekstra 
officiating.  Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetary 
under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shaw, age 79, of Winnfield, died Oct. 20, 1998 at Schumpert Medical 
Center in Shreveport.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church 
of Winnfield, a member of Irene Woods Sunday School Class, a member of 
United Methodist Women, and a member of Pine Ridge Country Club.  Mrs. 
Shaw was a native of Famerville, LA and a graduate of Louisiana Tech 
Univerity.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by one sister, Mrs. William A. Colquitt of 
Shreveport, one brother-in-law and his wife, Robert and Marily Shaw of 
Winnfield; one sister-in-law, Mrs. James Wainwright of Montgomery, AL; 
numerous nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Shaw was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. 
James A. Wainwright.  Memorials may be made to the First United 
Methodist Church of Winnfield.
