Lushen Andrew Stewart, Sr.

SPRINGHILL, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Lushen Andrew Stewart, Sr., age 91, 
will be held Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church
 with Father John Pardue officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under
 the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with the 
Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM in the Bailey Mortuary Chapel.

Mr. Stewart was born April 17, 1916 in Bonita, LA to Robert and Sallie Burnlee Harrell 
Stewart and passed away May 21, 2007 in Minden, Louisiana following a brief illness.

He was a resident of Springhill, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a 
retired insurance salesman for Southern Life Health for over 30 years. Mr. Stewart served
his country proudly as a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and he loved to fish and hunt.

He is survived by his sons, Dr. L.A. Stewart, Jr. and wife, Marie of Sarepta, LA, Bruce Stewart 
and wife, Jan of Springhill, LA and grandsons, James Stewart and Chris Stewart, both of Sarepta, LA.

Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Campeau Stewart and a brother, 
Edward Lee Stewart.

Pallbearers will be George Robert Stuart, Danny Vaughan, Chris Stewart, James Stewart, 
Bill Lasiter and Brock Lasiter. Bailey Mortuary
