Henry G. Stroud 

HAUGHTON, LA - A memorial service to celebrate the life 
of Mr. Henry G. Stroud, 87, will be held at 11:00 A.M., 
Monday, February 4, 2008, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Stroud was born in Lake, MS on February 3, 1920, to the 
late W.Q. and Mattie Lou Stroud. He was a loving husband, 
father, and grandfather. Henry was an avid fisherman with a 
quick wit, and loved a good joke.

He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Stroud; his parents, 
two brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his 
bride of 61 years, Mrs. Rachel Stroud; sons, Robert Stroud of 
Houston, TX, and Vince Stroud of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Babs 
Legan of Bossier City, and Rachel Stroud of Austin, TX; ten 
grandchildren: Steve, Greg, Macy, Hank, Jaci, David, Megan, 
Amanda, Cameron, and Ian; and his dog and constant companion, Caney.

Life is to be lived and to be loved, be sure to hug your family and 
walk your dog! Hill Crest Funeral Home
