Obituary for Deacon Austin Taylor

Born: August 17, 1917
Death: November 27, 2004
Funeral Service: Saturday, December 4, 2004; 11:00 A.M.; Union Springs Baptist 
Church, 702 West Seventy-First Street, Shreveport, LA
Officating Pastor: Roosevelt Seaberry 

Deacon Austin Taylor was born on August 31, 1917 in Frierson, Louisiana to the 
union of Austin and Cornelia Presley Taylor.  As a young man, he accepted 
Christ into his life as his personal Savior at Bethel Baptist Church of 
Frierson Church.  Austin later united with Union Springs Baptist Church.  From 
then on, he served faithfully as a member, as an usher and as a deacon.

In 1941, Austin united in holy matrimony with Catherine Anderson Taylor.  
Catherine proceeded him in death as did his parents and siblings.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, grandchildren, great 
grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
