MARGIE WALTON

Services for Mrs. Margie Walton, 87, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, 
Oct. 23, 1998 at Barksdale Baptist Church.  Officiating will be the Rev. 
Bob Merideth and Rev. Ellis Hayden.  Burial will be in Hillcrest 
Cemetery, Haughton, LA.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998 from 4 p.m. ntil 9 p.m. at 
Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Dr., Bossier City, LA.

Mrs. Walton died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998 in Bossier City, LA.  She was 
born in Grant, OK.  She was a resident of Bossier City and a member of 
Barksdale Baptist Church for 50 years.  She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Ann Dodge and son, 
Searle T. Walton, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Searle T. Walton; 
sister-in-law, Wilma Davidson; brothers, Clarence Davidson and wife 
Betty of Grant, OK and Bobby Davidson and wife, Margie of Mesa, AZ; 
grandchildren, Keith and Lesia Walton of Tampa, FL and Kent Dodge of 
Galveston, TX.

Pallbearers will be James Bass, Louis Bradford, Hugh Cates, Dodwell 
Jones, Youree Lee and Pete McKay.

Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of the members of the deacon body 
of the Barksdale Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank the doctor's and nurses of the IC unit 
of Bossier Medical Center for their excellent care and sympathy.
