White will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 1998 at Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev Lloyd Stilley, pastor of Waller Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 10, 1998 from 5 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. White passed away Sunday, November 8, 1998 in Bossier City. She was a longtime resident of Bossier and a member of Waller Baptist Church. She was a retired security agent at Shreveport Regional Airport. She was preceded in death by her husband, William N. White and daughter, Deborah A. Martin. Survivors include one son, William J. White of Bossier City; son-in-law, James W. Martin, Jr. of Bossier City; two sisters, Faye Simms of Birmingham, AL, and Betty J. Wiess of Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Larry Sherman of Lincoln, AL and Zane Sherman of Renfro, AL; three grandchildren, H. Dwayne Elliott and wife, Cheryl, Buchanan Lindsey, IV and Ross J. Martin, all of Bossier City, LA and two great-grandsons.
