On leaving the university he entered the office of the well-known law firm of McCoy, Moss & Knox, and after being admitted to the bar practiced for a time in connection with this firm. He later began independently, and has succeeded in establishing an excellent practice. Mr. Braden is a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and also of the Knights of the Maccabees of Lake Charles. He is a stanch Democrat in political adherency, a representative citizen and is regarded as one of the leading members of his profession in that section.
