Contributed by Margaret Moore Charles Carbello is a native of Louisiana, born 1845. He is the son of Alphonse and Antoine Carbello, of whom mention is made in the sketch of Emilie Carbello. Charles Carbello was married in 1871 to Miss Marie Laumreaux. They are the parents of ten chil- dren. Mr. Carbello has been a farmer all his life. He has a farm of three hundred and twenty acres of land, upon which he raises corn, rice and cotton and some stock. His farm, located on English Bayou, is well improved. Mr. Carbello is giving his children the benefit of the best educational advantages. He and family are Catholics.
