Affidavit of Hardy C. Gill
Made before Augustus M. Mayo, Notary Public.

Says:  That Affiant is 74 years of age and is a resident of said Parish and 
State:  That affiant was personally know and acquainted with Cecelia C. 
Kirkman, (born Whitney) and also Dr. William H. Kirkman, both deceased, that 
said Kirkman and his said wife were married but once; that the said Cecelia C. 
Kirkman died about Jany. 1, 1880, and was survived by her said husband:  That 
the said Kirkman never remarried, and that he died about March 4, 1887.
