A young man named Marion Hoosier recently disturbed a religious meeting near Sugar town by displaying a pistol and wanting to shoot somebody. He was arrested and placed in a small house under guard to be kept until the next day to be carried to Lake Charles for trial. That night unknown parties crept up to the guard house and assassinated him. Marion was a little ‘hoosierish’ but he did not deserve assassination. # # #
