George T. Locke, a prominent business man of Lake Charles, was killed, and Olin 
Moss, his brother-in-law, was severely injured when their automobile capsized on 
the Houston-Galveston shell road about half way between those two cities, Aug. 6. 
When the accident occurred Mr. Locke was on his way to join his wife, who had 
preceded him to Galveston by rail.
