LCAP May 30, 1981
Funeral services for Mrs. Nathan (Lola Rosfeld) Avant, 66, of Church Point, 
will be at 3 p.m. today, May 30, in Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. Finers B. Cryer, Dr. Jack Cooke and Rev. Homer Bailes will officiate.  
Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park.

Mrs. Avant died Thursday morning in her residence.

She had lived most of her life in Lake Charles, moving to Church Point one year 
ago.

She was a former member of Fairview Methodist Church and was a member of the 
Church Point United Methodist Church, where her husband is pastor.  She was a 
member of the United Methodist Women.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Ricky and Bob Rosfeld, both of Lake 
Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Whidon of Lake Charles and Mrs. Dolly Noel 
of Tyler, Texas; three brothers, Harry Watson of Lake Charles; Bill Watson of 
Jennings and Robert Watson of Spring Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Treaster of 
Port Arthur, Texas and Mrs. Minnie Trouard of Lake Charles, and 10 
grandchildren.
