Mildred Bodin 

Mildred Bodin, 88, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2006, in a local care center.  
She was born in Lake Charles on Feb. 19, 1918, to Jimmy and Louise Trouard.
Survivors include two sons, Earl A. Bodin and wife Darnell of Westlake and 
Wayne J. Trouard and wife Jo of Moss Bluff; two sisters, Lillian Deshotel of 
Moss Bluff and Ruby Chapman of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Felicia 
McFarlain and husband Byron of Sulphur, Bill Bodin and wife Lana of Moss Bluff, 
Paul Trouard and wife Claire of Lafayette, and Stephen Trouard and wife Jenny 
of Brandon, Miss.; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 
her parents; a brother, Clifford Trouard; and a sister, Buella Carpenter.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. today, July 25, from St. Theodore Catholic 
Church. Monsignor Charles DuBois will officiate. Visitation is from 8 a.m. in 
Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
