Burrows Dies Enroute To Hospital Jessie Joseph Burrows, 50, of Opelousas road here, died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday enroute to St. PatrickĄ¯s hospital from his home where he had been stricken ill suddenly. Mr. Burrows, a fireman at Olin Mathleson Chemical company, was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a member of the Catholic church. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hixson funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eula Mae Trouard Burrows; two sons, Jerry of Lake Charles, and Charles Burrows of the U.S. Army, stationed in Boston, Mass; his mother, Mrs. Eva Burrows of Lake Charles; one brother, Mack Burrows of Port Arthur, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. E.C.
