Obituary of Vito F. (Victor) Catalina
May 23, 1970, Lake Charles, Calcasieu, Louisiana

Funeral services for Victor F.  Catalina, 82, will at 3 p.m. Tuesday from  
St. Margaret Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under 
the direction of Hixon Funeral Home.
A rosary will be recited  at 8:30 p.m. today (May 25), in the funeral home 
Mr. Catalina died at 6 p.m.  Saturday in the Veterans Administration Hospital 
in Alexandria. He owned and operated a grocery store in Rockford, Ill. for 
many years before retiring and moving to Lake Charles.  He was a native of 
Alcano, Italy, and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. 
Rosa Catalina; one son, Francis Catalina of Santa Cruz, Calif., and one 
granddaughter.
