Cole, 79, will be at 3 p.m. today, March 15, in Hixson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Camp Pearl Creel Cemetery in Reeves. Mr. Cole died at 9 p.m. Thursday in a lcoal hosptial. A native of Ragley, he was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Woodmen of the World. He was a longshoreman, pile driver and ironworker and worked on the first ship to enter the Port of Lake Charles. He was a World War II Army veteran. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Katherine Cole; one daughter, Mrs. Annabelle Trouard Files of Ragley; one brother, Leo Cole of Lake Charles; one sister Mrs. Lucille Mouhot of Ragley; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
