Cole Services Scheduled Today at Reeves

Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Alice Cole, 81, of Lafayette, were to be held at 
2 p.m. today at the Reeves Congregational church with Rev. Lowell Baggett 
officiating.

Burial was to be in the Creel cemetery at Bel with the Hixson funeral home of 
Lake Charles in charge.

Mrs. Cole died Wednesday at a Lafayette hospital.

A native of Allen parish, she had lived most of her life in Lake Charles, and 
moved to Lafayette about six years ago.

She was a member of the Baptist church.

Surviving are her two sons, Ernest D. Cole of New Iberia and John Cole of 
Lafayette; three daughters, Mrs. D.A. Hebert and Mrs. Anna O. Lyons, both of 
Lake Charles, and Mrs. Walker of Lafayette, 19 grandchildren, and 38 great-
grandchildren.
