J.C. CUMMINGS DIES WEDNESDAY

Sulphur, La., Aug. 3. - James Charles Cummings, 71, died Wednesday at 4 p.m. 
at the family residence on Vinton highway. He was a native of Michigan and had 
resided here for the past 13 years.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Billye Carr; a son, Joe Cummings, 
both of Sulphur; and a brother, Henry Cummings of Alexandria, and by three 
grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Catholic funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m., with Rev. J. B. 
Boutin officiating. 

Burial will be in Big Woods cemetery with Hixson funeral home in charge.
