T. V. Herndon, pastor of Trinity Baptist church officiating. Burial was in the Palestine cemetery with the Roberts funeral home in charge. Survivors are four daughters, Miss Annie Belle Dickens, Lake Charles; Mrs. L. I. Sanders, Sugertown; Mrs. J. Thibodeaux, Tuscon, Ariz; and Mrs. L. W. Abbott, Lake Charles. Four sons, Leroy Dickens, DeRidder; Elair Dickens, Knoxville, Tenn.; Clarence Dickens, Knoxville, Tennl; Clarence Dickens, U. S. Army, and Levy Dickens, Chanute Field, Ill.
