Obituary: John Sirus Dubard
 
Funeral services for John S. Dubard, 76, will be at 2pm today 5 December 
1992 in Moss Bluff First Baptist Church. The Rev. Charlie Grigsby will 
officiate. Burial will be in Ritchie Cemetery under the direction of 
Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 8am until services. 
 
A native of Lake Charles, he was a member of Moss Bluff Baptist Church. He 
worked for Younger Brothers Transfer Trucking for many years, was a past 
member of Ward I Fire Department and past member of the Ritchey Cemetery Board. 
 
Survivors are his wife, Ruthie McKinney Dubard, two sons, Johnny Dubard of 
Moss Bluff and Charles Dubard of Atlanta, GA. Three daughters, Patti Ladner 
Smith of Lake Charles, Mary Frances Dillenkoffer of Bay St. Louis, MS and 
Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Dear of Moss Bluff. One brother, William Curtis 
Dubard of Lake Charles, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and several 
step grandchildren.
