The Rev. Wilton Anthony, pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Magnolia Cemetery in West Lake. Mr. Elliott died at 11 a.m. Sunday in a Lake Charles hospital after a long illness. He was a native of the area and had been storage superintendent at the Port of Lake Charles for many years. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Elliott; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Metzger of West Lake, and Mrs. J.C. Carpenter of Lake Charles; one brother, Harry W. Elliott of West Lake; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
