CLINT D. YOUNG SULPHUR – Mrs. Clint D. (Sudie Gaddis) Young, 87, of 215 Vine St. died at 6:30 [corrected 3:30] p.m. Sunday [Jan. 11] in her residence. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel here. The Rev. Tom Crosby, pastor of Maplewood United Methodist Church, will officiate. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. in the Oberlin Cemetery. Mrs. Young was a native of Ft. Jessup, a longtime Allen Parish resident and had lived here 18 years. She was a retired social worker and had been director of the Allen Parish Department of Public Welfare. Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Sidney D. Nolan of Sulphur; three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Spielman of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. R. M. Gochenour of Monroe and Mrs. T. A. Funchess of West Monroe, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
