Funeral services for Mrs. Henry H. (Helen "Joan") Gates, 63, will be at 2 p.m. 
Thursday, Nov. 20, in Hixson Funeral Home.  The Rev. Danny Gleason will 
officiate. Burial will be in Prien Cemetery.  Visitation if from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. 
today and from 8 a.m. Thursday.  

Mrs. Gates died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, in Lake Charles.  She was a lifelong 
resident of Lake Charles.  Survivors are her husband; one son, Timothy R. Gates 
of Lake Charles; one daughter, Cathy Michiels of Lake Charles; two brothers, 
Raymond M. Trouard of Lake Charles and Jack P. Trouard of 
Carlyss; and two grandchildren.
