Mr. Joe D. Gill

MOSS BLUFF ¨C Funeral services for Joe Daniel Gill, 77, will be at 11 a.m. 
Monday, Aug. 26, in Hixson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Danny Moore will officiate.  Burial will be in Sallier Cemetery.

Visitation is from 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Monday.

Mr. Gill died at 5:32 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 1996, in a local hospital.

A native of Oberlin and a resident of Moss Bluff, he was a member of the Order 
of Odd Fellows, a life member of Moss Bluff Gill-Lee VFW Post 9933 and a life 
member of the American Legion Post 1.

Survivors are two stepsons, Buck Suydam of Lake Charles and Ray Suydam of Moss 
Bluff; three brothers, O.E. Gill of Kisatchie and Glen G. and J.D. Gill, both 
of Moss Bluff; two sisters, Mrs. Guy Creel of Lake Charles and Mrs. Josephine 
Moore of Moss Bluff; and two step grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the family said.
