Mrs. James Gilley 
 
Funeral services for Mrs. James (Idellar) Gilley, 75, of 2411 Demarest St.  
will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev.  
William Sillings will officiate. Burial will be in Birds Nest Cemetery.
 
Mrs. Gilley *(Ideller Lovett) died at 3:40 p.m. Thursday *(25 Nov 1976) in  a 
local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area.
 
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Frances Silas, Mrs.  
Louise Felice, Mrs. Bertha Romero and Mrs. Dorothy Reeves; two sons, Alton and  
Solomon Gilley; one sister, Mrs. Martha Thomas, all of Lake Charles; four  
brothers, Joseph Lovett of Lake Charles, Doc Lovett of West Lake, Henry Lovett  of 
Iowa and James Lovett of Singer, 32 grandchildren and 24  great-grandchildren.
