The Rev. Andrew Martin Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens.Visitation is 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today, April 12, and from 8 a.m. Monday. Mr. Gothreaux died Friday, April 10, 1998, in his residence. A native of Cameron Parish, he had lived in Iowa for many years. He was a salesman in the appliance business, and he trained horses for most of his life. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the Lake Charles Quarter Horse Association. Survivors include his wife, Lois Gothreaux; two sons, Daniel Gothreaux of Iowa and William Gothreaux of Fort Polk; one daughter, Lisa O'Blanc of Lumberton, Texas; his mother, Irene Gothreaux of Deer Park, Texas; two brothers, Leland Gauthreaux(sic) of Oceanside, Calif., and Harold Gothreaux of Lake Charles; one sister, Vella Gothreaux Beasley of Deer Park; and one grandchild.
