"Jim" Abadie, 76, of Lake Charles, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, in Schoen Jacob and Son Funeral Home. The body will be cremated. Local visitation is 4-9 p.m. today, June 26, in Johnson Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Visitation in the New Orleans funeral home will be 5-9 p.m. Monday, June 29, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Mr. Abadie died at 3:45 a.m. Friday, June 25, 1999, in a local hospital. He was a native of New Orleans and had lived in Lake Charles for two years. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He retired in 1978 from Texaco as an accountant after 36 years of service. While in New Orleans, he was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Mosca Abadie of Lake Charles; one daughter, Jay Ann Loomis of New Orleans; and four grandchildren. ADAMS, Harvey G. He was a Vietnam veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He also retired from civil service at Fort Polk. Survivors include his wife, Yung Sook Adams; four sons, Lawson O. He was a Navy veteran of the Koran War, a retired PPG electrician and a member of IBEW 861. He was a member of the McClure Fire Dept. for 29 years. He was former Village Councilman and Mayor of McClure. He was a member of the American Legion in Moss Bluff. He was employed as a truck driver for Daigle Bros. Excavating and Construction. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2130 and a member of VFW Post 8107 of Sulphur. He was a former member of the American Legion Post 179. He owned and operated Oday's Recording Studio for many years in the Sulphur area. Dr. Wills died Wednesday, June 2, 1999. A native of Dallas, he moved to Lake Charles in 1942. He graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1951 and served in the Navy from 1955-1958. He attended medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans from 1962-1966. He was board certified in 1967. He was associated with the Beaumont Radiology Group from 1966-1986., the Manske-Sheffield Radiology Group in Port Arthur, Texas, from 1990 to 1993 and did locum tenens radiology from 1987-1990. and again from 1993-1998. He was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the Radiology Society of North America, Jefferson County Medical Society, the Texas Radiological Society, the American College of Radiology and the Texas Medical Association.
