The Rev. Brian King will officiate.Burial will be in Grand Lake Community Cemetery in Grand Lake. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Mr. LeDoux died Thursday, Feb.19, 1998,in a Welsh hospital. A native of Grand Coulee, he lived in Lake Charles most of his life. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church were he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a former usher. He was a member of the electrical Brotherhood Local 861,and served as an electrician with 50 years of service. He was the author of his own autobiography, which made a significant contribution to understanding Southwest Louisiana Prairie history. The autobiography,which was written in 1987, is in the Lafayette Historic Museum in Lafayette. Survivors include four sons, Charles Horman LeDoux and Louis LeDoux ,both of Moss Bluff, Wilbert LeDoux of Carlyss and Chester LeDoux of Lake Charles; two daughters, Mrs. J.J. "Lois" Trouard of Lake Charles and Mrs.Don "Genevieve" Wease of Baton Rouge; one brother, John Ira LeDoux of Lake Charles; one sister, Mrs. Lena Gwyn of Lake Charles; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchidren.
