The Revs A. E. Hodges and Tommy Magee will officiate. Military honors will be at Birdnest Cemetery in Gillis under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today, April 4, at the funeral home. Mr Lovett died Friday *(3 Apr 1987) in Sulphur. A native of Gilles he was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a native of Hacoda, Ala., and owned a restaurant business in Leesville. He worked at Fork Polk for a number of years and was a member of the Vernon Parish School Board from 1956-62. Survivors are two sons, T. R. Redmond of Shreveport and Ronnie Mac Redmond of Leesville; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Jean Merchant of DeRidder; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Allen of Leesville, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. *added
