(Freddie) Moore, 76, of 410 Louie St. were at 3 P.M. today, June 21, in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Dickenson officiated. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery. Mr. Moore dies at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday in a Lake Charles hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He owned and operated the Fred Moore Electrical Construction Co. from 1930-1970. He was a member of the Lake Charles Electrical Contractors Board of Examiners from 1940-1948. He was a charter member of the First Electrical Union organized in Lake Charles and had served as the past grand chancellor of the Knights of Pythias. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Moore, of Lake Charles; one son, Fred Moore of Lake Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Wynelle Veron of Lake Charles and Mrs. Maxine Childs of Lafayette, one sister, Mrs.Walter Young of Moss Bluff, 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
