Funeral services are to be held Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Rev. Harold R. Bott, rector of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, will officiate. Time has not been announced. Burial will be in Orange Grove Cemetery under direction of Hixson funeral home. A resident of 1722 Enterprise Boulevard, Mr. Smith had been in the real estate business in Lake Charles and lived here all his life. He was a Mason, Shriner and member of the American Legion He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Smith was the son of the late Frank A. Smith. Survivors are his wife, the former Mary Ellen Gayle of Lake Charles; one son, Fred Taylor Smith, Jr. of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. John B. Armstrong, Jr. of Sumter, S.C. and two grandchildren.
