Spell Jr., 53, will be held at 1 p.m. today, March 30, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Mr. Spell died at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 29, 1998, in his residence. A lifelong resident of Lake Charles, he was a carpenter and had served in the U. S. Army in Thailand during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Linda B. Spell; one son, Quinton David Spell of Shreveport; two daughters, Andrea Spell of Lexington, Ky., and Melinda Spell of Richmond, Ky.; one brother, David Alton Spell of Westlake; one sister, Betty Jean Ardoin of Sulphur; and two grandchildren.
