Former Resident Here Dies at Lafayette Home

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Bernard Catholic church 
in Breaux Bridge for Mrs. Fernand Trouard, 95, a Lafayette resident formerly of 
Lake Charles.

Mrs. Trouard died at her resident in Lafayette at 5 p.m., Friday, August 14.  
She was a member of the Lafayette Alter Society.

She is survived by Mrs. Eugenie Mouton of Lafayette, also a former resident of 
Lake Charles, 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were a grandson, Troy Bouy, his father Joe Bouy, both of Savannah, 
Ga., Roy, John and Didier Theriot, all of Lafayette.  Mrs. Trouard was a 
relative of Sterling Trouard of Lake Charles.
