Doris D. Trouard 

Doris D. Trouard, 77, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, in a Lake Charles hospital. 
She was born in Baton Rouge and lived in Carlyss. She was Methodist and a 
member of the Lions Club in Carlyss. She attended LSU and McNeese State 
University.

Survivors include her husband, Jack P. Trouard of Carlyss; three sons, Brent 
Trouard and wife Jackie of Moss Bluff, Brad Trouard and wife Cathy of Lake 
Charles, and Benton Trouard and wife Denise of Carlyss; one daughter, Barrie 
Ritter and husband Stephen of Moss Bluff; 10 grandchildren; and six 
greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Hodges and Minnie Bess Hodges.
A private graveside service will be in Prien Memorial Park under the direction 
of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. The Rev. Doug deGraffenried will 
officiate. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today, Jan. 10.  Words of comfort may be
