Gladys Trouard 

Gladys Trouard, 78, of Lake Charles, died at 2:15 am on Wednesday, April 23, 
2003, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Trouard was a native of Duson and had lived in Lake Charles for over 50 
years. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Ladies Altar Society. 

She is survived by her son, Alvin Trouard and wife Gabriela, of Lake Charles; 
daughter, Phyllis Trouard of Albuquerque, N.M.; granddaughter, Amanda Bulla of 
Lake Charles; sister, Marie Goutreaux of Duson; and brothers, Benard Leger and 
Ben Leger, both of Lake Charles.

Mrs. Trouard was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin C. Trouard, and 
sister, Leta Miles.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday April 26, from Our Lady Queen of 
Heaven Catholic Church. Monsignor Ronald Groth and Deacon Reynolds will 
officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-10 
p.m. today, with a rosary at 7 p.m., and from 8 a.m.-12:45 pm. Saturday.
