(Ed) was born Oct. 10,1921, in Beaumont, Texas, to Willie and Bernadette Trouard. He served with distinction in the United States Marines during World War II in the First Battalion, 3rd Division in the Pacific Theatre. He was a longtime member of VFW Post 2130. Mr. Trouard retired from Olin Chemicals as maintenance supervisor in 1982. The real joy of his life was his family, gardening and cooking. Mr. Trouard was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church Mr. Trouard is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 58 years, Lois LeDoux Trouard of Lake Charles; two daughters, Sharon Trouard Champagne of Lake Charles and Susan Trouard Jackson and her husband Tom of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren, Dominik Champagne, Allison Jackson and Trey Jackson; one great-grandson, Dominik James Champagne Jr.; and two sisters, Mae Burrows of Beaumont, Texas, and Delores Laque of Vidor, Texas. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday March 2, at Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles McMillin will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-10 p.m. today, Wednesday, with a Scripture service at 6:30 p.m in Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
