Rushton Trouard, 53, of North Highway 171. will be announced by Hammer Funeral Home. Mr. Trouard died at 12:15 a.m. today in a local hospital. He was a native of Breaux Bridge and had lived in Lake Charles for the past 50 years. He was a member of Rt. Rev. Msgr. Cramer¡¯s general assembly of fourth degree knights of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Thelma Trouard; and one sister, Mrs. L.J. Wheeldon, Sr., all of Lake Charles. Additional Comments: The following was printed in the LCAP on August 10, 1965: Rushton Trouard Funeral Services for Rushton Trouard, 53, of 2222 N. U.S. 71, were from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 a.m. today. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery under the direction of Hammer Funeral Home. A native of Breaux Bridge, Trouard lived in Lake Charles 50 years. He was an employee in the circulation department of the Lake Charles American Press and a member of the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Hubert Cramer General Assembly of Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. Mr. Trouard died Monday at 12:15 a.m. in a Lake Charles hospital.
