The Rev Royce Sylvest pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Royer Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Mr. Walton died at 4:50 p.m. Thursday in West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital. A native of Lake Charles, he was a retired school bus driver. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Lambert, Mrs. Percy Watkins and Mildred Walton, all of Sulphur; two sisters, Mrs. S. H. MURREY WALTON SULPHUR – Funeral services for Mrs. Murrey (Lillie) Walton, 76, of Rt. 1 Box 446 will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Houston River Baptist Church. She had resided in Sulphur all her life. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Lambert, Mildred Walton and Mrs. Percy Watkins, all of Sulphur; one sisters, Mrs. Elmer Faiszt of DeQuincy; eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. ============================================================= Birth Death 9/6/1859 5/19/1913 obit from the Lake Charles Daily Press dated 5/20/1913 Death of MRS. G. T. WALTON Word is received here of the death of Mrs. G. T. Walton, at DeQuincey, occurring yesterday. Mrs. Walton was well known to many Lake Charles people. The Walton family formerly lived in Lake Charles, leaving here about ten years ago. Mrs. Walton’s funeral was held at Westlake this afternoon, Rev G. B. Hines of the Simpson Methodist church officiating at the service. Burial was made in Westlake cemetery. The deceased is survived children.
