Ruth Nolan     Dec. 10, 1915  - May 5, 2002     Ruth Nolan of Corvallis died 
Saturday, May 5 [corrected May 4], at her home from a heart condition.  She 
was 86.  Born to Sudie Eva Gaddis and Clinton Dewitt Young in Oberlin, La., 
she lived in Louisiana until moving to Corvallis in 1983.  She was an active 
member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan, the Episcopal Church 
Women and Chapter CL of the PEO.  Survivors include her son, Sidney D. 
Nolan, Jr. of Corvallis; daughter Frances Ruth Warren of San Diego, Calif.; 
granddaughters Mary K. Nolan of Corvallis and Eva Warren of San Diego; 
grandson David Nolan of Rockville, Md.; and four great-grandsons.  She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Sidney David Nolan, Sr. A service will 
being at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in the main sanctuary of the Episcopal 
Church of the Good Samaritan. I n lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be 
made to the Church of the Good Samaritan Foundation, PEO scholarship funds, 
Habitat for Humanity, FISH Emergency Services of Benton County, or the 
Chintimini Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Corvallis.
