They also visited in the home of Rev. and Mrs. Tom Parker and son, Jerry of Hebert. ___________________________________________________________________________ Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Rushing and children and Mrs. Ollie McClary were Thursday visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dee McClary and Mr. and Mrs. Morris McClary and family of Strepta. Mrs. McClary remained for a longer visit. ___________________________________________________________________________ Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Cy Frazier and famly during the holiday weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lynd and family of Texarkana, Arkansas. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Frazier of Shreveport, Bruce Frazier of Winnfield and Miss Bonnie Frazier of Natchitoches were also visitors in the home. ___________________________________________________________________________ Visitors during the weekend in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Ferrand and family and Mrs. Minnie Ferrand were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Claunch and family, Mrs. Germany and Curley Jones of Houston, Texas. ___________________________________________________________________________ Mr. and Mrs. Gresham Parker and Arnold and Mrs. Thelma Hester were visitors Sunday with Neil Fussell who is a patient in a Monroe hospital. ___________________________________________________________________________ Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mrs. Hettye Weeks were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Weeks and daughter of Clarks, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Weeks and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Weeks, Mrs. Alfred Hatten and family, Mrs. Jack Cassey and Chester Ray Ellis of Grayson. ___________________________________________________________________________ Sunday visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Sellers and Roy were Mr. and Mrs. Lecil Aldrich and children, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Sellers and family, Mr. and Mrs. Garr Majors and family, all of Urania, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Sellers and boys of Willits, California. ___________________________________________________________________________ Friends of this community regret to hear of the death of Mrs. Olivia Fuller, who passed away, November 28 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Medaries. Mrs. Fuller will be missed by all who knew her. We extend our deepest sympathy to the bereaved family. ___________________________________________________________________________ Mr. and Mrs. Lavelle Parker left Friday for Lake Charles to visit a few days with Mrs. Parker's mother, Mrs. Benoit and family. Mr. Parker has reenlisted in the Air Force and will be stationed there. ___________________________________________________________________________ Rev. Braswell of Wisner was guest speaker at the morning and evening services at the Crossroads church Sunday. ___________________________________________________________________________ Mrs. Helen Frazier, Bruce and Bonnie Frazier were Sunday visitors with their brother and uncle, Cornelius Womack, who is a patient in a Pineville hospital. ___________________________________________________________________________ Sunday visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ray Ellis were Mr. and Mrs. Cary Robinson of Columbia, Mrs. Mattie Weeks and children, Mrs. F. C. Love and Mrs. Emma McGee of Grayson. ___________________________________________________________________________ Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ray Ellis are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born November 28 and weighed six pounds. She has been named Sharon Rae. The paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ellis of the Crossroads community. ___________________________________________________________________________ Mrs. Alma Black is on the sick list week.
