James Carson and Rev. Jay Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Fisher was born on August 12, 1921 in Sugartown, La. to the union of H.B. and Lela Richmond Hodges and died Saturday, December 14, 2002 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was a homemaker and a retired florist. She was also a member of the Grayson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Odia T. Fisher. Survivors include her daughters: Brenda Fisher Parker and Judy Fisher Rodman both of Monroe, her brother: Floyd "Slim" Hodges of Columbia, her grandchildren: Brian Creel, Brad Creel, Amy Creel, Brent Creel, Tyson Rodman and Kris Rodman, two great-grandchildren: Brittany White and Slayter White and many neices and nephews. Pallbearers will be Phillip McDonald, Jr., John Bannister, Roy Dean Hodges, Lewis Hodges, Eugene Dunn and Curt Dunn. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, Hwy 165, Columbia.
