Woody Rimes officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Union Cemetery west of Columbia. Mrs. Johnson was born on February 9, 1921 in Caldwell Parish to the union of Ernest Lee and Maude Pankey May and died Saturday, January 17, 2004 at her son's residence on Caney Lake. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Boyce A. Johnson, and her son: Teddy Lee Johnson. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: R.D. and Gaytha Johnson of Caney Lake, her daughter and son-in-law: Lecolian and Harvey Arrant of West Monroe, her grandchildren: Darrell Arrant and his wife, Denetta of West Monroe, Gaye Pierce and her husband, Ricky of Monroe, Tonya Jarrell and her husband, Donnie of Mandeville, Kristie Johnson and her husband, Rocky of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Royce Johnson of Shreveport, her great-grandchildren: Adam Arrant, Kristin Pierce, Megan Arrant, Wes Pierce, Anna Beth Johnson, Parker Elease Johnson and Logan Alana Jarrell, her brother: Ernest Wilfred May of Rogers, Arkansas, her sisters: Betty Jean Sims of West Monroe and Carlene May of Wenatchee, Washington, her sisters-in-law: Mildred Johnson of Monroe and Loya Berry of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of neices, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Charles Carter, Danny McGrew, David May, Darrell Arrant, Royce Johnson, Ricky Pierce, Rocky Johnson and Adam Arrant. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Jarrell and Ricky Sims. Any planned memorials may be made to the Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m.until 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia, La.
