Julius Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery in Olla. Mrs. Allison was born in Standard on January 24, 1915 to the union of William David and Edna Jane O'Neal Starpling and died Saturday, September 25, 2004 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was a retired secretary having worked many years for Standard Oil Company in Shreveport and First National Bank in Hobbs, New Mexico before moving back to Columbia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Fred L. Allison, her sisters: Myrtle S. Slay, Louise S. Guyton, Eula S. Schlakau, Beulah S. Smith, Ethel S. Hindmon, Annie S. Smith and Billie S. Reynolds, her brother: Tom Sharpling and her neice: Mary Louise Guyton. Survivors include her neices and nephews: Dorothy Dunn Regan of Columbia, Anita Slay Colvin of Benton, Jane Williams Hoover of Water- proof, Vaughn O'Neal Stewart of Lake Jackson, Tx., Kenneth Ray Slay of Olla, Dale Hoover of Waterproof, Arthur Williams, III. of West Monroe and Thomas Sharpling of Minden and special friends: Dorothy McQuaid, Mellie Hankermeir, Judy Johnson and Dr. Pankaj S. Shroff, M.D. Pallbearers will be Robert Regan, David Regan, Gordon Regan, Arthur Williams, III., Dale Hoover, Stephen Hoover and Kenneth Ray Slay. Honorary pallbearers will be Clark Colvin, Sr., Wade Colvin, Steven Colvin, Clark Colvin, Jr., Alaistar Donald and Thomas William Sharpling.
