KELLY (special) - Andrew (Jack) Powell, 38, of Kelly, died Sunday night in a Shreveport hospital 
after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Kelly Baptist Church with the Rev. W. A. Massey 
officiating.  Burial followed in the Pinehill Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral 
Home of Columbia.  A graveside military service was also held.

Mr. Powell is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Powell, Kelly; a brother, Bill Powell, 
Altus, Okla.; five sisters, Mrs. Bobbie Hendricks and Mrs. opal Starnes, both of Kelly, Mrs. Ann 
Mitchell and Mrs. Jessie Mae Martin both of West Monroe and Mrs. Helen Young of Olla.

(MEMO:  Andrew was born Apr 6, 1926, Olla LA to Jesse McKinnion POWELL and Maude Ollareine MCBROOM.
He never married.)
