headline:  Former resident Died at Serepta; Heart Attack

Mrs A. W. (Dottie) Simpson of Serepta passed away Tuesday, Nov 14, in a 
Springhill Hospital, her death apparently due to a heart attack.  She was 81 
years of age.

Services were held Thursday, Nov 16, in the Serepta Baptist Church, and 
interment followed in the Cotton Valley Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Thelma Holloman, who resides in Shreveport, 
a son, Norman Simpson of Serepta; one brother, D.M. May, former school board 
member of Ward 9; a sister, Mrs Onie Harper of Serepta, three grandchildren 
and five great-grandchildren.
