Obituary:  Dorothy L. Brown
June 11, 2004

Services for Dorothy L. Brown, age 58, of Grayson will be held
at 2 p.m., Friday, June 11, 2004 from the chapel of Riser Funeral
Home in Columbia with Rev. Troy Patrick officiating.  Interment 
will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery in Columbia.
    
Mrs. Brown was born in Ft. Bragg, Ca. on December 3, 1945 
and died Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the St. Francis Medical
Center in Monroe.
    
She was a homemaker and a member of the Clarks Assembly
of God Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband:
Lyndell Brown.
    
Survivors include her daughter: Charlotte Lowery of Grayson,
her son: Bruce Lowery of Chicago,Illinois, her parents: Sidney and 
Julia Fitzgerald Scribner of Grayson, her sisters: Marilyn Whittington
and Linda Sue Lowery both of Columbia, four grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.
    
Pallbearers will be Gerald Whittington, Ray Massey, Patrick Parker,
Joshua Taylor, Duanne Reitzell and Butch Hatten.
    
Kody Hyde will serve as honorary pallbearer.
