Obituary:  Barbara Sanchez Brownell
June 29, 2004

Services for Barbara Sanchez Brownell, age 67 of Columbia will
be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2004 from the chapel of Riser
Funeral Home in Columbia with  Bro. Hurby Hitt and Bro Sam 
Hawthorne officiating.
    
Mrs. Brownell was born in Donaldsonville on October 9, 1936 
and died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at the North Monroe Medical Center
in Monroe.
    
She was a homemaker.
    
Survivors include her husband: James H. Brownell, her sons and
daughters-in-law: Sammy and Marilyn Brownell, Jimmy and Leigh
Ann Brownell, her daughter and son-in-law: Alison and Frank Mart-
inez, her grandchildren: Leah Brownell, Kasey Brownell, Samantha
Brownell, Justin Ross and Colt Ross all of Columbia, her brothers:
James Sanchez of Lorange and Jerry Sanchez of Lafayette, and 
her sisters: Patsy Wright of Gonzales, Dorothy Naquin  and Lois
Millen.
    
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services.
