All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Obituary: Bonnie Waldrop Ledbetter September 22, 2003 Services for Bonnie Waldrop Ledbetter, age 70, of Columbia will be held at l0 a.m., Monday, September 22, 2003 from the Covenant Worship Center, Hwy 4 East, Columbia with Rev. Don Boyette, Rev. Cecil Gregory, and Rev. Don Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Mrs. Ledbetter was born on April 18, 1933 in Clarks to the union of German Lafitte and Irene Davis Waldrop and entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thusday, September l8, 2003 after and extended battle with multiple myeloma. She spent much of her childhood in the Clarks and Grayson areas. She was married 56 years to Mr. Klien Ledbetter, a longtime owner of Ledbetter's Jewelry in Columbia. She had worked many years with her husband in the family business where she enjoyed meeting her many friends. She was an active member of the Covenant Worship Center and had ties to other christian churches in the area. Mrs. Ledbetter's most treasured accomplishment in life was her family. She will always be remembered for her kindness, enduring love and steadfaast support for her husband, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her older sister, Bernie Stamper. Survivors include her husband: Klein B. Ledbetter of Columbia, her children: Dennis Ledbetter and his wife, Kaye of Columbia, Ronnie Ledbetter and his wife, Judy of Chase, Debbie Scott and her husband, Mark of Columbia and Rhonda Ledbetter of Columbia, her sister: Ruby Rowland and her husband, Jimmy of Columbia, eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many neices and nephews. Pallbearers will be Shane Hendrix, Steve Maskukla, Kaleb Bennett, Chris Ledbetter, Lucas Ledbetter and Colin Dunn. Honorary pallbearers are Glenn Meredith, Elgin McFadden, Hines Davis, Leonard Gregory, Mike Pollard, Mel Stephens and Robert Bennett.
