Mack Bellmore officiating. Burial followed in the Palestine Cemetery. Mrs. Cole died Monday, February 21, 1983, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Leon Cole of Columbia; four daughters, Mrs. Millie Uwanawich of New Orleans, Mrs. Rose Palmer of Arcadia, Mrs. Elsie Alford, Miss Emma Cole of Grayson; two sons, Mr. Arnold Otis Cole of Monroe, and Mr. Manuel Lewis Cole of Grayson; five brothers, Mr. W. R. Honeycutt, Sr., Mr. David Honeycutt, Mr. Bob Honeycutt, all of Angola, Mr. Wilbur Honeycutt of Houston, Texas, and Mr. John Honeycutt of Kelly; seven sisters, Mrs. Mildred Busch of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Lucille Spence of Clarks, Mrs. Marie Leckie of Colorado, Mrs. Shirley Franklin of Grayson, Mrs. Georgia Tidwell of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Elaine Spence of West Monroe, and Mrs. Jimmie Allbritton of Columbia; step-father, Mr. James a Cruse of Grayson; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Strange, Johnny Gunn, Benny Johnson, Joe O’Neal, Greg McMillon, and Shelby Brockner.
